7th July 2007 Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Session time = 1.30-3.15pm Surf / Sea State: HT@5pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunshine :) Max Speed: Distance Covered: The late afternoon high tide suggested Worthing would be best today however I was reluctant to drive that far. Checked out Hove first 1pm where it looked slightly marginal, onshore and mid-tide lumpy. Not particularly inspiring however within 10 mins of my Matt, Pat, Lucy and others all turned up providing sufficient reason to stay. Rigged 5.8 and planed straight off the beach and after a couple of runs more downhaul had to be applied. A pleasant enough session followed, slightly dull in view of the mid-tide lumpiness and lack of waves but sunshine throughout so no complaints. |
